Low Mileage, '23 AWD

I've been daily driving my 2023 for a few months now, and while I really enjoy the comfort and space, the gas mileage has been underwhelming like wdym I'm averaging around 23 mpg with mostly suburban and light city driving, not exactly close to the epa numbers I was expecting. I've tried switching up my routes and driving style a bit, but it hasn't made much of a difference. Is this just how it is with the AWD models, or is there a chance something's off with mine?

yeah, that sounds about right. AWD cars usually get a bit less gas mileage, and those EPA numbers are just ideal situations.Getting 23 MPG in the suburbs or light city driving is pretty good for a big 2023 model. Real life, with all the stop-and-go, short trips, and cold starts, really takes a toll on fuel economy. As long as your tires are in good shape,there are no engine warning lights, and the car feels okay,it's probably just the way it is

23 in mixed driving, you're probably not far off normal, you could check out the tire pressure well and make sure you're not lugging around extra weight, but otherwise, that might just be the reality of this setup

Yeah, I can relate. I had a 2021 all-wheel drive crossover that was supposed to get way better mileage than it actually did. Even when I changed my routes and drove conservatively, I was only getting around 22 to 24 miles per gallon. I found out that a couple of extra tools I had stashed in the back weren't doing me any favors either. It might be a good idea to check your tire pressures and what you're carrying,sometimes it's the small things that make a difference. Have you tried taking it on a pure highway drive yet? I'm really curious about your results.
