I just recently picked up a 2024 Kia Sportage Hybrid. No major complaints but there's one thing that's a bit bothering me.. When I put my car in reverse, it makes this really loud sound. I understand EVs have an alerting system for safety at low speeds since they're so quiet. But this seems excessively loud. I'm worried to disturb the neighbors since I usually leave home so early or arrive home really late at night. Is it possible to reduce the volume of the external reverse sound itself? What are my options? Thanks in advance for your input!

The reverse alert is loud, my neighbor has it and in a quiet neighborhood like mine at night, you could imagine, I dont think Kia provides a setting to lower or disable the external vehicle approach warning system through the infotainment or regular menus, it's baked in for pedestrian safety compliance
