Switched from a 2020 Mazda CX-5 to the 2024 Kia Sportage SX and love most of it but this adaptive cruise has a lead foot. It pushes 7 klicks over easy. Am I chasing ghosts or is there a fix?

I wanted to confirm your advice was a huge help. The dealer performed a software update last week and the cruise control's lead foot is gone. Thanks again for the tip that got this sorted out!
